Gabriela Bernal, with proudly Mexican origins, began dancing salsa since she was a kid. Her first international event, with her partner, Victor Biurgos, was in PR Salsa Congress 2000. After they presented their amazing creation of Salsa with Quebradita (awesome and energetic Mexican folk dance and music), they took 2 years to have a pro salsa career and started to travel around the world in 2002. They have been performing and teaching in many countries as: US, Canada, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela, Australia, China, Japan, Korea, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain and UK. As judges and performers at the ESPN World Salsa Championships, Victor & Gaby are known internationally as “Mexico’s Ambassadors of Salsa”. They are crowd favourites everywhere they go, and are featured at most prestigious world congresses.
