Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Christian was given a great foundation in musical genres, listening to Latin folklore, salsa, bachata, merengue and jazz. At a young age, Christian performed folklore and hip hop dances at local talent shows. Although music and dancing were always a passion, they were temporality forgotten after moving to Orlando, Florida in 1997.
After a 2004 salsa class, the fire was re-ignited! One year later he was introduced to bachata…soon after he started developing his own personal style of bachata, influenced by tango, waltz, and salsa.
In 2006 Christian took his new style to the world in his widely-recognized YouTube “Sensual Bachata” performance. Today, Christian teaches bachata and L.A. On1 style salsa in Orlando in addition to working in the IT field. |
