| Vesa aka DJ Dominicano Rubio, is the organizer of the Finland International Festival in Tampere and Helsinki, THE LEADING EDGE OF THE BACHATA FESTIVALS IN THE WORLD.
Vesa has visited Dominican Republic 12 times within 19 years. During these years the country, scenery, culture, music and dance have become familiar. He knows the cultural background of the Dominican dances and more importantly the cultural differences between Dominicans and Westeners. Dominican press gave the name El Embajador de la Bachata (Bachata Ambassador) to Vesa, because he did the great cultural act of heroism by bringing 13 people Bachata band from Dominican Republic to Tampere Finland. Being an ambassador, he has done diplomatic arrangements by organizing Bachata stars to the European Embassy parties in Santo Domingo. Dj Don Besos likes all types of music. Seriously! In addition to Bachata and Latin music everything excellent music goes whether is would be Finnish, Indian or you name it. Don Besos owns nearly all the existing Bachatas and several thousands of Latin CDs including Salsa music from Cuba, Columbia, Venezuela, Dominican, Puerto rico and USA. Don Besos known the right genre combination for the Bachata, Salsa&Bachata, Salsa, Latin and Candle Dinner Parties. Don Besos is one of the Djs in Valentine's Bachata Festival in Stockholm and he has been invited as an honoured Dj in the first Bachata Festival of San Francisco. |
