Dance Teacher
Edwin's interest in dancing began at an early age. With a genuine love for the art and a natural gift on stage Edwin's childhood took on an expedition to explore a wide variety of latin-dance genres. The music and dance ranged from national folk dance, salsa, mambo, reggae, calipso, soca, punta, merengue, son cubano, cumbia and even the recent sensations of latin pop and R&B.

Hi journey in dance continued through out school. In college he explored different disciplines of dance and art including capoeria, the mexican folklore dance and Aztec dancing. After graduating with a degree in Engineering Edwin took on to new grounds that only reinvigorated his love for Salsa and helped him discover his new love for On2 New York Salsa, cha-cha-cha and most recently bachata.

In 2001 Edwin decides to embark on what is now his current passion, teaching. Having years of training under some of the most prestigious world renowned dance instructors and artistic directors of several latin dance companies Edwin became a professional avid performer a co-director and a choreographer. Later, he added on and founded his own latin dance project called "Clave Kache" a brief period when a group of dynamic and talented performers made their appearance in the San Francisco Bay Area back in 2003.

Today, Edwin holds latin dance lessons in and around the bay area. His long and intensive dance training allowed him to create a mastery dance system that helps his students learn how to dance and improve in their dancing. With precise, simple, fun and clear instructions Edwin specializes in Salsa (On1 & On2), Merengue, Cha-cha-cha and Bachata.
