| With 12 years of dance experience, 10 of which in Salsa, Jimmy has had formal education in dance for four years during which time he was educated in Body Mechanics, Physics, and Dance Showcase Performance. He has applied that experience through instruction and performances during his career as a dance studio owner and instructor for J Smooth Salsa.
Presently the president of Salsagang.com, a powerful contributor to the salsa world, Jimmy, during his career he has made many contributions to his community by offering free dance lessons, donating time and money to various organizations, participating in youth guidance programs, and supporting many of his peer dance instructors through assistance or advertising. The experience has also aided him to build a community website that allows visitors to obtain free information on salsa patterns, conducting basic steps, competition advice, and other instructors. He has DJed locally as well as the one of the DJs for Reno Bachata Convention. |
